Hey guys,

Maybe you’re wondering what I’ve been up to lately, I have after all been absent from this blog (though I’ve been posting articles you’ll notice!). Well, in my defence I’ve been a little busy and also quite injured.

First I went to Gran Canaria, granted my fault, and I was in the desert for a while. It was very nice. Then I came back and made a video of myself wrestling with Goof which resulted in my shoulder becoming fucked. Not nice. This left me unable to work out and injured for about a week, at which point I then went to Bath. Also very nice. Then I came back and got a flat which is great, and I’ve moved all my stuff into my Mum’s while I wait for the contract to come through (they’re taking their sweet time with it).

And this was pretty stressful, but while moving everything out I then trapped a nerve in my lower spine. So now not only could I not gym, I could also not even walk. I went from bodybuilder extraordinaire to cripple in moments and I’m still buggered.

This is the longest I’ve gone for a long time without being able to workout and it really does show you how much you love it (or it shows me how much I love it, I don’t want to put words in your mouth (I don’t want to put anything in your mouth, that’s my promise to you and you shouldn’t let anyone else unless you like them a lot)).

Next I’m off to Tunisia, so another holiday. To complete the pattern I guess another injury is awaiting for me. I’m then moving into my new flat (fingers crossed) and things will calm down so hopefully I can get back in the gym and back on this blog.

I will from now on I think be writing in the British Library. I am doing so now and I am inspired. They have this book case… and it’s massive! And the chairs are like pods! With everything you need to work build into them. That’s a little bit about the past present and future.

I’ve also made some new sites including the return of AdamSinicki.Com and the formation of SmarterWithMoney.Com. I’ll unveil them shortly, but rest assured that all my attentions will be focussed firmly on the Biomatrix. This is my baby. Also I will be making apps though.

Right… Begin writing…. Now! Yup so there’s a thing and… What’s a good opener? What was I even writing about here? There are plenty of great things about… Okay I just wrote that and don’t even know why…

Sound familiar? Sounds like you’ve encountered writers’ block in that case friend. We’ve all been there and it’s highly frustrating so what do you do about it? The answer is to simply work with your brain. Most people think that the problem is them and so they try and force their way through writers block by sitting down and refusing to move until that article/chapter/whatever else is written. Nine times out of ten though that doesn’t work. And that’s because you’re not what’s the problem here.

Rather the issue is that your work or whatever you’re writing isn’t engaging you as it should. Maybe you’re writing about a boring topic or something, or maybe you’ve reached a point in your story that’s just exposition and no fun. Its understandable then that that migt leave you bored and not wanting to write. What you need to do then is to change the writing and change what’s the problem until you feel inspired and excited about it

. Trust me you can do it you just need to think of an angle. For exposition scenes how about setting them during something more interesting? Or for boring articles find a new slant. For instance if. You’re writing about solar panels and don’t know how they work then just write instead about the benefits or about saving up for them. Or write about solar panels in nature or use an analogy discussing how solar panels are similar to leaves. The great news is that if you can make it more interesting to write then that should also make it more interesting to read. If your bored of your own writing in short, then there is a problem.

Holiday!

Author: adman

Hey Bioneers, just a quick message to appologise for a lack of content – I am on holiday you see. But I’m using the down time to write loads of articles so look forward to a flood of them when I get back. Train hard until then!

I’m currently in the process of building a new Android app; an awesome keyboard designed to allow for two finger typing on larger phones such as my beautiful Dell Streak. So far it seems to be working beautifully but it needed a test so here it is – this article has been written entirely on phone. Boom.

So I was thinking, what would be a good thing to test this on – I decided the answer would be another training principle I forgot to add to my recent list, Here they are – switch sets!

Switch Sets: I really can’t believe that switch sets have not already been given a name, Essentiakly when I say switch set I mean doing two exercises one after the other in the same set. Like a superset then, except for the switch comes within the same set. Then you do a different exercise that uses similar muscles but eases off of them gently – like going from pull over to kick back. Then rest two minutes again. It’s like a drop set but more varied. Enjoy!

Making Money Online is Easy is the new book brought to you from the people who brought you Project Superman… err me.

The idea of the book is simple – to give anyone who wants to get started being self employed a starting point, some inspiration, some guidance and some ideas to begin working for themselves and to become free of the rat race. There are technical parts in the book – such as how to bring people to your website with marketing, how to use SEO the right way, how to publish books and how to make money from YouTube. However the bulk of the book is mostly just giving you that edge and understanding, that will germinate your new business.

You start by working for yourself in your spare time. There’s loads of different business ideas that you can start from scratch with no investment and any of these are scalable. You can start doing them on your evenings and supplement your current income to be a bit richer, or you can increase them and open them up to more people until you’re able to give up your day job – or leave it just as it is.

Then I show you how you can take one success and use it to launch into hundreds of others – still with minimum investment and not even that much time.

Essentially the title of the book says it all. Making money online really is easy if you get pointed in the right direction. This book will do just that – point you in the right direction and get you started. And like all good investments, it’s cheap as you like…

Everyone tells you about how life is tough, and the assumption is generally that they’re referring to the fact that you have to work 9-5, the fact that people get ill and die, or all the little stressors that keep us from just kicking back and relaxing.

If that’s your problem, you just need to watch Rocky. That’s not really what makes life difficult though – the really hard parts are far more subtle and the kinds of things that gnaw at you. Like a lack of purpose, or like a lack of understanding about what life is supposed to be. What are you supposed to be? Have you made the most of your life? Of your youth? What’s really important to you and are you running out of time?

This is what makes life hard, the realization that your dreams aren’t being reflected in your reality. Or the concern that you’re not actually sure what your dreams are. Well don’t worry, here’s a little helping hand to help you out of your existential ennui.

The trick you see is to find meaning and worth in everything. Stop thinking of grand overarching themes of accomplishment and success, or of ever-lasting love and instead start thinking about the little moments that give your lfie worth.

I think that all of us, a little bit, want our life to be like some epic film. That you will get the guy/girl, defeat the villain, be hailed a hero and run away forever after in love. Unfortunately it’s not that easy because there is no beginning or end to our story. We have to deal with the stuff before the villain and after the happily ever after which is when the feelings of dissociation, and listlessness can set in. And we judge these stories by those standards, and ridiculously by what other people would think. ‘Man I’m a loser, I’m in a loveless marriage and a thankless job and I’ve achieved none of my dreams’.

But you probably have had many little moments that would make great plots for films. You’ve probably had unspoken love, little moments of win, and painfully emotional losses (that let you know you’re alive). These powerful and emotional moments are what make up your colourful history, they are what make you who you are, and they are what give your life meaning. Don’t look for the overarching plot then, look for the powerful little moments in your life that are full of emotion and that may not even be externalised.

I love Lost in Translation. In it both characters are feeling that existential crisis and are feeling adrift and meaningless in a country that doesn’t understand them. But they build a connection and a friendship/sort-of-romance that goes unspoken but that clearly has intense meaning for them.  It doesn’t matter if that week they have doesn’t change anything about their lives, or if it doesn’t continue past that point – but it’s a powerful bond they’ll have formed, a powerful memory and something no one can take away from them.

Life is full of countless little stories like that and countless little moments. Look out for them and find your meaning there. The bigger picture will grow out of that like a glorious tapestry.

I don’t mean to second guess what you know and what you don;t know, but here’s something that you probably weren’t aware could help you in bodybuilding: garlic.

Why is this? Because garlic causes vasodilation (you heard!) which is also the purpose of a popular bodybuilding supplement ‘NO2′. So what is NO2, what is vasodilation and what does all this mean? Well essentially vasodilation means the dilation of the blood vessels and the thickening of the veins. That then means you look more vascular (cool thing for bodybuilders), but at the same time you’ll enjoy the ability to get blood, oxygen and nutrients around your body faster. That in turn results in more muscle hardness, a better ‘pump’ during the gym, harder muscle (over time), quicker recovery and more.

So people pay through the NOSE for NO2 – but garlic will have similar effects. If you can’t afford the £40 for a month’s supply, then instead take a whole garlic clove every day. Fun ways to eat this are diced up and put in mayonnaise, added on top of meals or added with peanuts. Raw is best though.

Oh and it will also lower blood pressure and do other things for you. The downside? You’ll stink.
