Description: There comes a time for all of us when the temptation beckons and we buy an inferior product just because it's cheaper. It happened to me just recently when, in my defense, my cash flow had reached an all-time low. Up until that point I'd been happily enjoying the delicious and very effective EAS Whey Protein and the sensible thing to do would have been to suck it up and splash out the 35 for a tub that would have lasted longer and been far better quality. However, being the tight-fisted bastard that I am I instead opted for Body Supreme as a cheaper alternative.

I didn't really know what to expect but looking at the back I couldn't see anything instantly wrong with it. The packaging was cheap and tacky (like that shitty Body Fortress crap I used last time), but I decided not to judge a book by its cover. To make myself feel better I also convinced Rich and Goof to invest in some.

As soon as you try some you can see where the price has been cut - the mixibility is poor, and at least the strawberry flavour has an unpleasant bitter after taste. Then there's the bloating. Goof reported severe problems in the bowel department and atually gave up on it. Rich mentioned something similar but powered through. Personally I found my shits to be fine but developed some rather painful wind immediately after each glass. On the plus side my farts doubled in potency.

Shit taste and a bit of bloating I can live with however, so long as the protein shake actually works - and this one does. It's not as good as EAS obviously, and the recommended dosage seems strangely small, but it'll certainly do as a temporary solution until I get my finances in order. They've cut every corner to get the price down but thankfully they haven't touched the important bits. In short, if you can't afford anything better, this is as good as you're going to get at a budget price.
