The Fastest Way to Get Six Pack AbsBy Adam Sinicki
![]() Fastest Way to Get Six Pack Abs Many people who want to know the fastest way to get six pack abs will attempt to achieve this simply by dieting and doing lots of sit ups. They then wonder why they aren't having the desired results and often quickly get disheartened and give up. While in theory this should work (even if it isn't the fastest way to get six pack abs), it will still prove to be very boring and is also taking a very basic approach to what is actually more of a whole body problem. If you are looking for the fastest way to get six pack abs, then the chances are it's not just your abs that are the problem. You probably have a slight layer of flab over your stomach which is preventing your abs from showing through, but this flab is probably also present on your arms and on your face too. Meanwhile, you probably don't have much muscle tone in your stomach, but it probably isn't anywhere else either. Have you ever seen someone who is completely fat and out of shape, but has amazingly ripped abs? Have you ever seen a set of firm, washboard stomach muscles hidden just bellow a pair of great sagging man boobs? No. The reason you've never seen this is because it's not possible and that's where the clue lies - the fastest way to get six pack abs is to transform your whole body. For now then, don't worry too much about doing lots and lots of sit ups, as this likely won't get your very far. After a while doing the same exercises will get stale as your body adapts, and at the same time this relatively gentle form of exercise won't really burn you many calories or have much of a profound effect on your body. You can't target fat loss, meaning that the order that you lose fat is really just random rather than being related to the specific area you workout so sit ups won't mean stomach fat lost. What is a much better method then, and genuinely the fastest way to get six pack abs, is to train your whole body with things like running and swimming which will more quickly burn your calories. At the same time you should train every muscle group and a great way to do that is with bodybuilding. While many people will make the mistake of training just one body part - the body part they want to train - bodybuilding has loads of different advantages in terms of weight loss that can benefit your abs. Training the rest of your body will first of all mean you're covered in muscle - for the body this means that it has to then burn fat in order to maintain that muscle which means you actually lose weight while sleeping. At the same time training itself triggers the release of growth hormone which causes you to burn fat and build muscle - again it’s all good. Simply training your abs also just won’t push you hard enough. Most people find it hard to push themselves a long way while training their abs because it involves a lot or repetitions of a fairly easy move such as sit ups. At the same time you can’t really push yourself every day in just your abs or you would risk doing damage. You need to do other things then for the fastest way to get six pack abs and it needs to hurt. What you should do then is to train your whole body rather than just one area and a great way to do this is with press ups which focus on your abs as you hold your body straight but will also train the rest of your body and can be a kind of CV if you do them quickly.
