Product Name: EAS 100% Whey Protein
Description: EAS' 100% Whey Protein was recommended to me by the trainer at my gym so I decided to take the plunge and fork out 30 squid for a big tub of the stuff. It seems a lot, but taking two scoops twice a day meant it lasted just over a month. This is the cheapest you'll find a similar product of any quality. My initial impressions were good. It mixes better than the weight gainer I was using recently and there's not much clumping at all. This is particularly impressive as I don't have a whisk or a shaker but instead use the humble spoon to stir mine up. Here's a tip, don't put all the powder in first - fill up the glass a quarter of the way with milk, then dollop in the shake, and then top up the rest of the milk. This will prevent the powder from sticking to the bottom of the glass.
Next thing you obviously notice is the flavour and I wasn't dissapointed on this front either. It tastes exactly like a thick strawberry milkshake and I actually look forward to mine. I consider it a pudding and it makes it easier to steer away from temptations such as chocolate bars. I've also tried it with water and it was okay, by no means a treat, but certainly drinkable. The flavour I tried was strawberry, as I often don't fancy chocolate in the morning. I can't guarantee the other flavours will be as nice but if they're similar to the strawberry then they shouldn't be bad.
Of course it could taste like the tears of an angel but it would still be crap if it didn't work. Thankfully it does. I've
been taking an exactly average amount according to instructions and I have seen considerable gains in the space of just
a few weeks. All my shirts fit tighter and my neck has turned into a tree trunk. I can also report that there's been no
bloating and no noticeable additional wind as some have commented.
